Rent-A-Center had its eighth grand opening of the year in Cape Girardeau, Missouri! “Cape Girardeau is a good sized town with a population of about 43,000 that still has a small town feel,” Scott Denison said. “Our presence will give us the ability to serve them and give them immediate access to furniture, appliances and electronics that they would otherwise have to wait for quite some time to have had delivered without us.” As part of the grand opening, the new store contributed $1,000 to Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri, a local organization dedicated to enhancing the lives and creating strong communities and neighborhoods through a wide range of services. Denison said he is excited for the store’s future in Cape Girardeau and is confident in Rent-A-Center’s ability to give the community access to all their needs.

Thank you to everyone who donated blood to the American Red Cross at the Plano FSC this past Tuesday! Because of your willingness to make a difference, we were able to collect 36 units of blood, with 18 of those units being “Power Red”! One whole blood donation could potentially save up to three lives and a Power Red donation has the potential to save six lives. On top of our success in collecting blood donations, we are overjoyed we had 19 first-time donors! Additionally, thank you to our volunteers! You gave us a helping hand when we needed it to support this amazing cause.
