Robins & Morton team members had a wonderful evening celebrating our winning projects at the Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama's Excellence in Construction awards ceremony in Birmingham. Our team was recognized with five first-place Obelisk Awards and four Merit Awards. Meanwhile, Robins & Morton President and Chief Operating Officer Robin Savage was honored with the 2023 Cornerstone Award, a lifetime achievement award that recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the construction industry while conducting business with integrity, advocating for the future of the industry, and maintaining community involvement. Finally, Robins & Morton Vice President Mark Mattox was announced as ABC Alabama's 2024 chairman of the board. Robins & Morton Field Superintendent George Butler is working to mentor high school students who are interested in future careers in the architecture, construction, and engineering industry. George spends time each week with students as part of the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Tampa Bay, discussing various topics and brainstorming ideas for class projects. His experience in healthcare construction allows him to make students more aware of the processes associated with building those types of spaces. Our Westover Hills Baptist Hospital team had a wonderful time hosting Construction Science and Management students from The University of Texas at San Antonio for a site visit. The team led a tour and shared some insight on various aspects that come with a project of this magnitude. We are always grateful for the opportunity to inspire the next generation of builders.

Our UHealth - University of Miami Health System at Doral Ambulatory Care Center project team was excited to welcome University of Miami Design and Construction students for a site visit. The facility will be 160,000 square feet with a variety of services, including cardiology, orthopedics, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. We're glad we could provide an inside look on this project for these future construction professionals. #BeATrueBuilder
