There’s no silver bullet for solving the teacher shortage crisis, but there is a solution that's making headway. In order to help set up our schools, our teachers, and our students for success, we must invest in substitute teachers. How? Forging partnerships, providing professional salaries, and helping substitutes earn debt-free credentials are some methods that are already proving successful.
