Recently, we unveiled exciting new technology for Northeast Louisiana - the da Vinci 5 surgical system. Two da Vinci 5 surgical robots will soon be installed: one at St. Francis Medical Center and one at St. Francis P&S Surgery and Heart Center. This advanced robotic technology can be used for minimally invasive surgical procedures for urology, gynecology, thoracic and general surgeries. St. Francis is the first hospital in Northeast Louisiana to offer this cutting-edge technology. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence in the delivery of quality patient care and safety within the field of robotic surgery. We have been accredited by Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery since 2021. This ongoing accreditation reflects years of dedication to bringing advanced, minimally invasive surgical options to Northeast Louisiana.
