Our workforce development team had the privilege of attending the recent Career Confidence event hosted by the West Monroe and West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. This impactful event brought together five local high schools and provided 1,282 sophomore students from throughout our community with valuable exposure to various healthcare career paths and educational opportunities. The event saw strong participation from local businesses, students, and faculty, creating a vibrant and engaging environment. It was an inspiring day that underscored the importance of connecting students with resources to help them navigate their future careers.

For the second year in a row we have received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes our commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients. St. Francis is one of only 259 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor in 2024.
