PRIDE CELEBRATIONS In celebration of the grand finale of the Tokyo Rainbow Pride Parade, our Stella McCartney Japan team marched through Shibuya and Harajuku proudly wearing Stella logo t-shirts alongside the LVMH Japan Group — showcasing our collective commitment to diversity and inclusion.
TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY CELEBRATIONS In celebration of International Transgender Day of Visibility, our Stella McCartney London flagship at 23 Old Bond Street hosted a panel discussion on how workplaces can become more inclusive for trans-identifying individuals, organised by the ALL LVMH Pride UK Committee with attendees from LVMH Maisons. Empowering conversations were led by speakers and activists Mina Galan, Morena Salas and Drew-Ashlyn Cunningham, and chaired by Stella McCartney's own Jaz Grewal.
Stella and the Board of Directors were thrilled to announce the appointment of Amandine Ohayon as Chief Executive Officer of Stella McCartney earlier this year. “I am delighted to welcome Amandine as CEO of my Maison. Her passion for great fashion and ethical values makes her a great partner in our quest to champion a sustainable way to business success.” – Stella McCartney Amandine will succeed Gabriele Maggio who decided to pursue other opportunities, leaving the business in December 2023.
As a champion of next-gen talent, Stella McCartney is proud to have partnered with The Women's Association and participated in their year-long Executive Challenge – giving eight young women access to the world of work. In addition to gaining wisdom from members of our Leadership Team and being matched with mentors from across our business, at the end of last year, the young women were hosted at our London headquarters for a special work experience programme, crafted by our Talent Development team. We loved the positivity and potential we saw in the young women, and it was an honour to play a part in the beginning of their career journeys.
