Meet our exceptional OhioRISE Care Coordination team! Launched statewide in July 2022, OhioRISE offers specialized care coordination for children with complex behavioral health needs. This team assists youth and their families in navigating various systems, including education, behavioral health, juvenile justice, and child welfare. Through collaborative planning, they empower families to take the lead in their care, considering their strengths, needs, and culture for a better life. Over the past year, our Care Coordinators have positively impacted over 120 youth and families, breaking down barriers and fostering independence, well-being, and happiness in homes and communities.

Talbert House Names New Vice President Talbert House is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Kamaria Tyehimba to Vice President of Behavioral Health. She has served as the Director of Addictions Services at Talbert House since 2018. Prior to Talbert House, her experience included Program Director, Chief Clinical Officer and CEO of area human services agencies. A Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, Kamaria has over 35 years of experience in mental health and addictions services working with children and adults. She has a doctorate in social psychology and a master’s degree in social work. Kamaria was recently named in Movers and Makers’ Notables for Addiction and Recovery Services. In her new role, Kamaria will focus on the Agency’s substance use programs, residential services and support the continued integration of behavioral health and primary care. Kamari
