Meet Francois Charlot, Sr. Service Desk Analyst at The Vitamin Shoppe! “My primary function is to provide technical support for our stores, corporate users, and remote users. The Service Desk department has approximately ten agents and as a senior member, my team looks toward me for inspiration, motivation, and assistance in identifying the correct courses of action when dealing with complex technological issues. My father is my greatest role model and he set the bar high at an early age in my life. He has continued to maintain that same standard throughout my life and because of that I am motivated to coach others, improve processes, find ways to problem solve efficiently, and be a part of a team."
Andrew Laudato and the IT team sure know how to party! They celebrated "Black Tie Day" at the CSC by hosting an Information Technology Oscars ceremony! Congratulations to the winners and thank you to Maritza Soberal and the IT Fun Committee for organizing this lavish event!

Cheers to recognizing Store Manager, Brian in our Brighton, Michigan location for outstanding customer service! "One of our greatly appreciated regular customers, Trudy, has been ailing with a broken foot for the last couple months. I have been taking her orders by phone, running out to grab her method of payment, gathering all her items and delivering them to her in her car. Trudy thanked me in the sweetest possible way by having an edible arrangement delivered to me at our store! It made my day! Always remember to go that extra mile for a customer. They appreciate it more than we know and it's a wonderful feeling to make someones day a little easier! Thanks Trudy! I appreciate you being so kind." -Brian

This week, we are hosting all of our District Sales Managers in the office and as a group activity, they created baby blankets to be donated to a local charity in New Jersey. This activity began after the inspirational presentation and ceremony from Howard Schiffer, Founder & President of Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization that provides life-saving vitamins to mothers and children internationally and domestically. Great job to the DSMs on this amazing activity!
