Last week, #TeamTrimont had the privilege of volunteering with the Cancer Support Community North Texas, one of the amazing organizations we are supporting through our Giving Council donations this year. This remarkable organization provides free support and resources to individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis or treatment, enhancing the quality of life within the cancer community. During our visit, we rolled up our sleeves to organize their development storage room for an upcoming move and spread some joy by decorating, signing, and preparing heartfelt birthday cards for Clubhouse members. As we embrace the holiday spirit, we are truly honored to contribute to such a vital cause and look forward to more opportunities to make a positive impact. Trimont's mental health and wellness group, N.E.W. (Nurturing Everyday Wellness) recently hosted "#TakeAMoment for Meditation," which encouraged team members to step away for a moment and decompress. During the session, we gathered on yoga mats and participated in a guided meditation, learning about the practice and its numerous benefits for mental and physical well-being. It was an enriching experience that highlighted the importance of taking time for self-care and mindfulness in our busy lives. 🌈 Recently #TeamTrimont celebrated at Atlanta's 2024 Pride Parade! Trimont proudly participated in the Atlanta Pride Parade, walking two miles through Midtown Atlanta to celebrate inclusion and equality. Led by Rickey Robinson, captain of our TriPride resource group, #TeamTrimont with their families and friends participated in the parade alongside 8,000 other supporters. As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we are grateful for the opportunity to honor the #VibrantVoices and rich cultural contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities. #TeamTrimont enjoyed a traditional game of Loteria, where participants learned about the history and traditions behind this beloved game while enjoying delicious food from Venezuela and Panama. Our second event combined the art of making sangria with the joy of salsa dancing. Participants learned about the history of sangria, made their own drinks, and danced to lively salsa music with the help of a professional dancer. Trimont won the same award in the USA in 2021 and 2022, and in Europe in 2020. The shortlist for the award was selected on several criteria including loan servicing volumes, client satisfaction, technology and ESG initiatives. The nomination season came at a challenging time for the US commercial real estate market with stubborn inflation, global geopolitical uncertainties and CRE asset value declines curtailing investment and lending activity. Trimont Global Real Estate Advisors LLC Appoints Bill Sexton as global CEO The Board of Trimont Global Real Estate Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Sexton as the new Chief Executive Officer of Trimont’s global business. Mr. Sexton has been with Trimont since 2018 as President and head of Trimont’s operations in Europe. Throughout his 31-year career, he has founded and built international businesses operating in both commercial real estate equity and debt. He has been a member of Trimont’s Global Management Committee since 2018 and is on the Board of Advisors to CREFC in Europe.
