Our local Veritiv Buffalo team created a community drive with employees and neighbors for the victims of the May 14 shooting at the Tops Friendly Market grocery store. Honoring the mantra Buffalonians live by, “City of Good Neighbors,” our team delivered the non-perishable food items to FeedMore WNY with one of our 18-wheelers. This initiative was 100% led by our employees in upstate New York including teams in Buffalo, Rochester and Victor. A very special thank you to Craig Paianini, Sales Manager in Packaging, Andy Cannizzaro, Operations Manager, and Roeena Neal, Senior WMS project lead and President of Veritiv’s African American Employee Resource Group for being the catalyst to make this happen. A team of Veritiv employees volunteered their time yesterday at Camp Twin Lakes-Rutledge, a fully adaptive, medically supportive, and deeply impactful camp experience for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. Employees beautified the camp’s goat playground to support educational programs for nearly 10,000 campers and young adults.
