3% and epic give 3%

A 3% salary match is paltry compared to the organizations that we work with. I've seen some that are 25% of income with no contribution from employee. This is not a selling point, simply an afterthought in the benefit package.

Match can be higher, and the cap is pretty low.

company contributions do not fully vest until you have worked there a couple years

They match the standard but it takes some time for the contribution to stick. It makes sense.

Good matching but not fully vested until 5 years

match 3% if you contribute 6%

.5% match for every 1% you contribute of your income (up to 3% match for 6% contribution) with a vesting schedule. Can't borrow against your 401k for any reason (i.e. loan to yourself for home or car purchase).

Begins 1 month after start date.
