Was weak, didn't offer anything - felt like budget package.

From the beginning I was able to enroll in a well rounded package at a reasonable price. I have not had health insurance for a long time and I was happy to have even a limited plan soon after my start date. The package was flexible with numerous options for health, life insurance, disability insurance and spouse/family options. After 6 months, I was able to upgrade to a more inclusive Major Medical Plan. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong deadline for enrollment from one staff member and I missed my opportunity to upgrade by 1 day. There was no turning back. This was my only negative experience with APEX.

Coverage is poor and more expensive than sourcing them on your own through Washington Healthplanfinder.

Thought the health insurance, dental and vision package was very good. No difficulty getting time off for vacation or personal time off.

Plenty of choices.of different plans. including a savings plan to spend when you need to. Low paycheck deductions.
These are the best things about their benefits package.
