Vacation & Paid Time Off

Great benefits. No bad thing about it.

Decent amount of time off but you have to bid for vacation time 6 months out

At HealthPartners, there are limitations as a new employee due to union regulations. You cannot negotiate paid time off at the hire date. The hourly rate goes in years of experience increments. There is a generous amount of sick time given but cannot use that or vacation for 6 months.

Vacation time goes by seniority is the worst thing. Best thing is that we get paid for holidays whether we work them or not.

Decent PTO at point of hire

Very difficult to get time off at all unless for medical appointments. Even for medical- they give you a limited time span to do the appointment either at the beginning or end of the shift, very controlling. Also, if you're new- you're last in line out of 200 some representatives to ever claim days off. Don't work here if you want to vacation in the first year or even two. Was very annoying to deal with.

Should be able to carry over more unused time

the option to buy more pto was great, but got somewhat spendy.

Very generous with PTO. After 10 years get big bump
