My wife began working for a large tech company here in the valley and we switched our coverage under her employer. The cost was much much less and covered much more. IBM Health plans seem dismal in comparison.

Poor health insurance by Cygna was actually chuckled at by health provider personnel.

The PPO includes most of the doctors in my area. However, how the copay is calculated does not always match the behaviors the company wants to encourage.

Health insurance plan is average, you have several options, and can opt out and they will give you money back.

Flexible health insurance and encouragement to stay healthy.

They give you a couple of PPO and a few HMO Plans to choose from, and it will cost anywhere from a few dollars a month on opt out, to hundreds a month as they do not cover all costs. They do have a HSA Plan, and decent optical and Dental.

When they offer they said they are giving you health insurance and they deducted 1200 USD from Salary. And worst part they are still deducting 85 per pay check for the health insurance which is really pathetic.

It's decent but make sure you select the right one upfront because you will not be able to change it for a year
