Job Training

Photography training was fantastic. Sales training was mediocre at best. If you had the desire to learn there were resources to take your photography to the next level but it was self learning online after the initial training.

The training is very hands on and they make sure your are prepared to begin working in the field.

The rules and guidelines that are taught during training are not followed on the job.

Not enough time to get comfortable before starting the job for real.

This is a great way to immerse yourself in portrait, sports, or event photography. You get hands-on training and learn lighting set-up, and how to use camera, position people for portraits, etc. If you are passionate about learning photography...this is a front-line opportunity. It should pay more once you gain experience, but you will increase your knowledge. You will also meet other employees who you can also learn from. This is a team effort. Make the best of this fast paced job. Training was fast paced, intense, and interesting. Don't apply if you are not a hard worker!

The training for assistant is on the job. If you chose to become a photographer they will train you, provide you with equipment and set you up with jobs. As you progress they move you up the chain to better clients/schools.
