They do give you a bit of training. Meaning they teach you the basics of photography, what the terms of photography are. There is about 3 or 4 days of training, after that you're on your own. Unless you speak up and tell then you are not comfortable photographing on your own just yet, they will pair you with a veteran to assist in any further training.

Since it was busy during the holidays, I was not granted training with one of their training personnel at a different site since I was hired late in the season. I learned as I went and by asking coworkers and manager.

Too many chiefs, not enough indians. Person training doesn't know enough. Makes training ineffective.

You need to be an experienced photographer in order to be a candid/sports shooter for Lifetouch, but the company does provide adequate training on specific portrait set-ups with their modified cameras.

Training is too much for the amount of time given for the training. Some materials need to be updated and corrected and more one on one training should be provided for those that have never picked up a camera.

It was skills I could carry forward to other portrait studios... but some of the training is lacking, and you'll have to learn on your own.

NO support past the initial training period. the adanced training is none existent. They have many online tools but no actual hands on guidance.

Too quick to expect so much. They want everyone perfect in a week and you can't teach quality that soon.
