MetLife is committed to providing you and your family meaningful benefit programs geared toward health and wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
Not as good as expected, just average benefits. Thought the company would have higher and sooner contributions to 401(k) / retirement plans. Short term and long term disability just standard. Medical coverage for familes is lower, but there could be higher deductible from physicians in their network. Overall, expected better.

They use the "PTO" (paid time off) concept of time off, so vacation, personal and sick days are lumped together. I think there is room for improvement since you start out with 15 PTO days. However, overall medical coverage and dental was pretty comprehensive.

The best is that the company offers a pension plan fully funded by them and also offers 401K with matching.

Time off in the beginning is a bit limited, regarding actual vacation but it increases as more time is put in. Health insurance is about average , 401k and life insurance are available as well.
Great rates on health and dental insurance. Flexible hours in some departments.

The best thing is that the health insurance package is both reasonably priced and fairly comprehensive. Additionally, after a year they will contribute up to a total of 9% of your annual salary into a 401(k) and pension plan.
