Job Training

The paid training session is only a few hours and too basic. Doesn't really help enough to do well on the real job. Real job days are busy so can't really depend on coworkers to give help, and likewise for you giving others help. There needs to be more instruction on how to handle scanner if the screen displays something else other than the program required during the job, and shortcuts to do when switching around the user interface. These things won't go over peoples' heads, even if they not computer-savvy.

You can barely call if training (it varies from district to district) and they only teach half of the basics

They rarely give actual training. Managers are quicker to just say you did it than actually do it, and what's worse is that you are the one who gets yelled at when you do something wrong that you weren't properly trained for.

What ever goal is the hot topic. They drill it into you good bad ugly it's going to be repeated till hear it. Always been a hands on learn from the vets kind of techniquo

it is hands on. they not just hire you and than good luck. No thy make sure you understand the equipment and you can ask as many questions as you need to understand

The current district that I work for has a completely incompetent management team, District Manager and Area Manager. They have no idea how to train employees on how to count, you would think it was easy when all you do is point and click and zap and record.

Most employees get one training session. The session is 2 to 4 hours and goes over the basics of the equipment, event procedure and counting techniques. If an auditor is struggling, they may get supplemental training. Mostly you're expected to pick it up in the field. Also, the training is only as good as the trainer.

They were not there at the location I was told. I had to wait over an hour for the trainer to come by.
