Job training happened at my first counting event. I asked co-workers for help with the machines when I didn't understand something. Luckily, I had experience with 10 key so I was able to catch up with my count after asking questions.

Because of the high turnout rate, training is kept to a minimum and is done in a quick manner. Training in store is often left to supervisors

"Training" is only 3 hours, and during this time you are continually harassed for your counts not being fast enough and looking at your keypad (apparently you're supposed to be able to immediately use it without looking).

There was a seminar that was a few hours long where they explain how to count the items at a fast pace, as well as other logistics that you would need to know. I felt highly unprepared going in the first day, but that was unnecessary since I knew how to do the job for the most part. If you feel that you are doing anything wrong, just ask the manager and he or she will walk you through everything you need to know.

training is continuous and always on going

The training at the beginning was tough. We were pretty much thrown to the sharks. But now they have a different way of training people. They have multiple training classes for new people to show them tips and tricks to the trade, and getting to know their equipment better.

Job training is minimal; mostly learn on the job from co-workers who may only have a little more experience than you do.
