401K Plan

Poor 401K matching. Only up to $2500. This is well below industry standard.

We are below the matching standard for most companies because it is fixed dollar amount. I max out my 401K But if they did match the standard. 1/2-1% for 6% I could also max the IRA max and be near the same out of pocket expense.

The 401K plan is probably on par with most companies that offer one. Their match is confusing. They say they match 6% but it's not dollar for dollar. I still don't understand it. Just like their bonus structure. 10% but not 10% of your salary. Always some fuzzy math involved that you can't figure out.

Rackspace matched at an aggressive rate, and the funds that the plan includes has performed very well.

They match 50% of your contibution up to a 6% of your salary

Performance of the 401(k) is decent, but still below the index funds. However, their matching is fairly low for the job market.
