Training was good with a lot of computer training modules every few months. I have no complaints about the training.

I only had one day of training but that's because there wasn't much to show me and I learn really fast.

You get 1 week at corporate headquarters. You need to ask a lot of questions.

Every job in retail today is sink or swim, Payroll cuts like no others, and extending the job duties. Plus the more you move up the less breaks and lunch time periods you'll take. At least the more successful locations seem to be this way.

I had to stand in one spot for 6 hours and take computer-based training. My entire first shift was just CBTs. You get boatload and then finally, 3/4 of the way through my second ever shift, they finally let me see the register and try it out. I was trained by a shift supervisor. The CBTs don't cover everything i need to know, like the photos section, and even now after being there for i year i have to ask how stuff works. There isn't even a CBT on how to use the register, you have to be taught that by an employee.

Store managers usually get enough training on upcoming changes in the company but they are heald responsible for training the entire staff
