They have good job training. You take online classes for a few weeks prior to floor training and you become very familiar with medical terminology.

The trainers do a great job in making sure each new employee is comfortable in the position, which fosters a welcoming environment to learn and work,

The training helped me understand the flow of being a medical scribe. However, it is nothing like the real world.

Definitely their strong point - They sent a great scribe from Florida to come train us and he stayed for almost a month, scribing and training simultaneously making sure we were set before getting us started working and then following us around until he was sure we were competent enough to work on our own!

The online job training for scribeamerica is very intense and a little stressful if you have no prior healthcare knowledge. Also, if you fail the online courses, that is grounds for possible termination.

Training is paid and a lot of it can be done at home.

The training staff is excellent and are really good at preparing the interns for the job. The classroom training is a good review of the material needed to understand the job and the floor training actually prepares the interns for the solo shifts.

The training was effective for the scribing position and it was paid, though it was somewhat disorganized.
