It was paid which was great. Not awesome = only 8 dollars an hour. The training was ineffective in the end. Felt like a waste of time.

It was short and paid which was great. We did it on our own time.
Downside: it was a lot different on the actual job than what was taught in the online training. Need to have more specialized training (before you get to your actual job) on the different systems used for charting

Very brief. Definitely could be a lot better. Obviously this is kind of a site by site basis. If you have a good manager and good chief scribe with lots of resources then you will be trained well. If not, then you won't

They give free job training. You can qualify for insurance benefits if you work 40+ hours a week. Schedule is usually very flexible.

Much of the training is by powerpoint. Many of the floor trainers are rude, impatient, and aren't very good teachers.

Very informative, but very long and overdrawn.

Many days and hours of training which did make me feel prepared for scribing alone.

Job Training is stressful, but a good preliminary to medical school.
