There was very little training. I was trained for two days by another employee (not a manager) and any other questions are met with condescension for not knowing all the answers already.

The job training consisted of watching two videos. One about germs and the other about your shift duties. Then you got trained by a crew leader (if you were lucky). Carhops would first learn fountain for three days and then would carhop on foot for three days. After that, you had to skate.

They just kind of throw you in the job and figure it out once you have spent enough time watching other people or after they have told you what NOT to do instead of giving you a certain direction

With a team dedicated to training and a mountain of resources, the sky is the limit. If there is something that you want to learn that isn't part of your current "job description" you only need to talk with you supervisor and they will work with you to learn any new skills. As for job training there is plenty of that as well.

They just pick a random employee to train you and it may not be one who enjoys their job or is actually any good at it
