easy to learn, when it gets busy it can be overwhelming

Very detailed training, manager trainees work the entire schedule of training manager and learn all the duties and exactly how they are put into action.

Job training was fine. The people were friendly and ready to answer questions. In a lot of ways, it's kind of a "learn by doing" job, so there was a lot of observation and question asking which was all that was necessary to ensure I could complete all the tasks required of me.

Training will vary by location, however, there are company wide lessons you take on a computer.

Managers talk trash about you and other employees behind your/their back. They purposely make you work alone when you have angry customers wanting to have their sandwiches. You are left alone only after half a day of training. There is no proper cleaning supplies, I had to unclog a toilet without a plunger. Use your imagination on how well that worked. I would stay at work till 12- 1 a.m. and not even get paid, because I didn't want to get written up. Go apply anywhere else but Subway.

I was mostly trained by my co-workers rather than my manager, which was beneficial to see how they do things around here.

The best thing about job training is that it is very intensive. The worst thing is that a managers labor runs high when they are training, more labor equals no bonus, so the are more focused on not getting their money rather than training properly.

The online modules are actually useful. On the job training was more than adequate. Most individual tasks were not very challenging it is putting everything together, being efficient, and not missing any steps.

Training needs to be addressed always. Worst thing that can happen is poor training for a new employee, they never work out and its back to the hiring process
