Maternity & Paternity Leave

It's actually pretty good if you have been there long enough. You recieve half of your pay while your on leave. They have an excellent maternity support program that offers great advise and they are avalible to answer all your questions. Also a $100 gift card after completing the program is a great incentive (must enroll in first trimester)

they are fully compliant with the FMLA guidelines, however they have recently move to contracting and outside company to micromanage FMLA, Sick Pay, Disability Pay, etc

You only get 6 weeks of time with your newborn. Not nearly enough.

You get paid disability or you can use vacation time, Target out sourced HR for this aspect and it has become a pain for employees to deal with Hewitt

Very little to no maternity leave depending on your position, absolutely no paternity leave. Thanks, America.

The benefits package is great.

They give you a difficult time to get paid for maternity leave.

Pretty standard maternity and paternity leave practices are set up which are on par with most big box retailers

They have paternity leave, I don't remember for how long though.
