Great benefits. Virtual work environment. Strong 401k with up to 5% match. Vacation does not carry over to following years. Health insurance deductible crept up this year along with rising premium. Overall Teradata pays a major part of the insurance premium.

A bit below market for tech industry. Worst thing was the health plan, employer contribution was typical market, but the coverage was quite poor leading high out of pocket expenses.

Teradata is one of only a handful of companies that gives all employees one paid day off per quarter for community service. However, the leadership doesn't like to promote that and many corporate-organized community service activities are on weekends or after regular work hours or only last a half-day, so that you can still put in a full day of work.

Teradata benefits for a family have gotten very expensive. They offer a small 401K matching program of 2.5% if you contribute 5% or more. They only offer training when you enter the company and not much after your first year. Training is required on your own time. VSP insurance. Low grade dental. Vacation is 2wks to start. you can buy 5 days vacation.

Pretty competitive benefits including vacation. They were pretty flexible with taking time and trying to keep a good work-life balance.
