Brief training, not enough. Many accidents could be avoided if time was spent on safety.

They send us to Oklahoma for two weeks for a training that focuses more on what more we could do for engagement than getting us the basics of our job. With how complicated the contracts are and how big our processing network is, the time would really be a better investment if supervisors came out of it knowing how things work.

The worse thing about the job training is that they have different people training you the way they want to train you

its a hands on kind of training. although you do have 3 days where you sit in a classroom with all of the other people hired at the same time as you and go over some of the most boring things possible.

Benefits are good, the lack of vision insurance sucks you have it but it doesn't cover anything. The dentel seems good. The medical could cover more things.

The training was more than enough to ensure that employees could perform the functions of the job appropriately. More than enough training was available.

Training is pretty good. Lots of information and they try to make it engaging. 3 day orientation, 5 day academy, driver training, and on the job 3 day training.

Classroom instruction poorly prepares employees for actual job. Much of the training is focused on city carriers and walking routes and there is very little to prepare Rural carriers for the specific situations that are unique to rural routes. Many employees will quit within their first few days on the route.
