Various training levels for the various positions within the postal service

There was no real training people who just got the job them selves maybe a week prior train you

the best thing about the job training is they really teach you about training and how you can move up in the company. They really promote safety is which is one of the most important things.

You have three days of orientation then ride along for up to a week. It doesn't prepared you for all the stations and wear everything goes once it's picked up.

Extended training on general requirements/responsibilities of all USPS employees. After the 2 day orientation, select fields differ in length of training. Paid drivers training, as well.

The training was long but they tried to make it a enjoyable as possible - there was a ton of information in a short period of time per say.

Even though you are given a 3 day orientation at the beginning with a bunch of instructional videos, you aren't expected to remember everything. Once you get to the work floor, you'll be given a lot of additional training from supervisors. Other long-time employees will also help you out and show you the ropes. By the end of your second week, you will be to do your job competently, albeit not perfectly.

the training is good. it's actually not getting the proper training at the proper time is the proble.

There was a lot I was not told or trained on.
