Unisys benefits

Benefits are not awesome but are decent; costs and conditions increasing

I'm writing about the Healthcare mostly here, everything else is fine, but the healthcare has soured things for me. Beware if you get married or have a family, adding your spouse or dependents to your benefits can be possibly as useful as not adding them to your benefits as I quickly learned this year when a family member needed treatment in a life threatening situation - and it resulted in months of lost money paying the bills off.

It changed in 2014-15, so that it costs less monthly but you have to pay much more out of your pocket for services.

The benefits are really bad. You pay high rates for almost no health insurance coverage. It is useless.

Benefits are average. I have no issues with the benefits. I have worked with several other companies and Unisys pretty much matched those companies.

This company requires a "Bio Medical Screening" every year or they charge you extra for your health insurance. If you have solo coverage that isn't too bad, if you have family coverage it turns into a nightmare. Everyone on your insurance will need to be screened and the insurance company will use any excuse they legally can to deny benefits.

They used to have a killer benefits package, and they took it away

Good benefits overall, but employee cost went up significantly.

not the best healthcare package. difficult to work with. constantly required to validate charges to get pmt. always loosing fax's from doctors etc.
