The 401K was matched with company stock at a certain percentage point. Educational benefits had to be related to job function (very strict about it.) Vacation hours were earned per paycheck. You could keep 100% on the books; however, you would not earn any further vacation time until you used some. For example, if you were a four week vacation employee, you could earn up to four weeks during the year. Once you reached your maximum, you could not earn more until you used some time. Basically, work over your vacation maximum earned you nothing. It made people use their vacation time which helped relieve stress.

It is non-existent. Do not look for anything in reimbursement for continuing ed, skills updates, bonuses or any other type of incentives. UNISYS is extremely cheap and diverts all their revenue upwards to give their senior management bonuses.

Benefits are dwindling. No matching on 401K which was only just recently brought back. For a long time, there was no 401K. Health benefits are horrible. High premiums, high co-pay and no choices with regard to coverage.

Overall the benefits are fairly competitive. The health insurance is a high deductible plan which is partially offset by company contributions to an employee health Savings Account or HSA.
