Atos-Syntel Entry-Level Software Engineer interview questions

Three round were there all together for this off-campus round in Pune campus. No of candidates were around 2.5k in 6 different batches. 1st day only aptitude was conducted, Aptitude : not tough, but it was like a rapid fire, where the passing percentage was 70% because of which half of the chunk got eliminated in the first round itself. 2nd Day : Group Discussion in the groups of 10. here also half of the crowd got eliminated. They hardly took 2-3 candidates from each group. It was then followed by the Technical Round:(I was an ELEX candidate) Questions around ur branch, final year project, logical puzzling, situation based questions, case studies. (for IT/COMPs it was full of JAVA, C, C++, .Net etc.) Again as similar with previous rounds, 2/3 of the crowd they eliminated in technical. HR Round : Mine was pretty good. HR was damn chilled, made me comfortable nad asked the questions around my resume, hobbies, asked about the shift, relocation and all. Overall nice.

They called me to let me know hat they got my resume, and that they wanted me to be in training pretty soon, not before having an interview that they do not use to check if you are ready for the job, they just do it for the heck of it, and they gave me the job without any consideration.
