Flexential interview questions

"Flexential": What a duplicitous, unethical, complete waste of time outfit! I was contacted five weeks ago by a recruiter who asked me to take a series of on-line tests. I spent an hour interviewing with her, and another hour taking the tests to determine, apparently, if I warranted further consideration - some of the "testing" resembled tests I recall from Junior High School. (I have many years highly successful experience in new business development with IT co-location-cloud companies). Apparently I cleared that "testing" hurdle. The recruiter called me back a week later and set up a phone interview with a hiring manager. He called me several days later on a barely audible cell phone that kept cutting out. I kept asking him to repeat himself. He told me he wanted me to come in "next week" for a face to face meeting with him and two others. He said the recruiter would set that up. That never happened. What ensued was a series of calls and emails by me to the recruiter over several weeks to try to set up the "promised" meeting. The recruiter kept telling me the manager is "busy" and "has other priorities". Ultimately she handed me off to a second recruiter I never spoke with that communicated solely via email. THREE WEEKS went by and I kept hearing the same runaround. I kept reminding the (2nd) recruiter that the hiring manager had wanted to meet with me three weeks ago. Second recruiter kept saying he'd try to reach him and set up the overdue meeting. That never happened. Finally, I sent the recruiter an email letting him know I am considering an opportunity with another company, and I also let him know that "interviewing" is a two-way street and "Flexential" has demonstrated itself to be a confused, unethical company and has failed the interview. Apparently private emails are not kept private at this"company" because within hours I received a phone call from someone in "H.R." at corporate. His call was couched as an "apology" for the several weeks of runarounds but it felt more like a reprimand. He asked me if I was still interested in the position. Reluctantly, I said "yes". Within hours however, I received an offensive BOILER PLATE email, unsigned, informing me they are "looking at other candidates" for the position and "wishing me luck" in my job search. I considered that boilerplate email - in light of everything that had happened to that point - to be highly unprofessional and offensive. If you don't want to waste your time, do yourself a favor and steer clear of "Flexential".

The recruiter sent me an email stating that my resume was of interests and he wanted to schedule an interview (phone call) to discuss my background and experience in greater detail. He sent me a link to an online booking system, or gave the option to contact an administrator. The email must be a template, because there were conflicting instructions. I immediately responded to both him and the admin to get clarification. Heard nothing. Reached out AGAIN to the admin --- NOTHING. COMPLETELY GHOSTED. Not only unprofessional, but come on ... your names are on the email. It's a big gamble to hope it doesn't get back to a boss or another employer. What a waste of my time!
