The interview process consisted of a panel of five interviewers and covered a mix of system design and behavioral questions, with focus on AI-related discussions. Three of the interviewers were professional, approachable. However, two interviewers frequently interrupted responses and redirected the discussion in ways that made it difficult to fully articulate structured answers. At times, this felt less like constructive probing and more like disruption, especially during AI-related discussions. The system design portion required balancing SRE fundamentals with AI-specific considerations, which was interesting, but the constant interruptions affected the overall flow of the conversation. Post-interview communication was lacking. I did not receive any update from the recruiter even after a month, and there was no formal closure or feedback provided. The technical bar appears reasonable, and parts of the panel were engaging. However, the lack of alignment among interviewers and poor post-interview communication impacted the overall experience.
