I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NatWest Group (New Delhi) in Jan 2017
Interview
The company short-listed around 100 students for eLitmus (aptitude) test. Around 25 people were shortlisted after the test. It was followed by a group discussion, coding round, and an Interview. The good thing about RBS is that a final assessment is made only after analyzing a candidate after all the rounds. Once you get past the eLitmus test, you will appear in all 3 rounds.
Group Discussion: The GD of RBS was one of the best GDs I have ever participated in. A topic is given, and every single participant is given a role. One has to present their views based on what their role is, which made the discussion more engaging.
Coding Round: RBS made us write a piece of code in a paper, and the questions were much easier than most other companies.
Interview: The interview was sort of semi-tech/HR interview, and I was asked all the basic interview questions.
Just make sure that you are enthusiastic and engaging in the entire process.
