Contacted by a Corporate Recruiter for a generic phone screen. In-person interview with the Hiring Manager a week or so later, then nothing. During my in-person interview, the Hiring Manager was extremely friendly and at ease with me and promised that I would be hearing either from him or the Corporate Recruiter within one week. He actually said a week would be the longest, and that I would realistically hear back sooner than that, but PROMISED a week at most. I asked if I would hear from them either way, and he said "definitely." Well, it's been almost three weeks since my interview and I have not heard back from either of them despite a phone call and two emails. Considering he said he was hoping for someone to start by the end of October, I am going out on a limb and guessing I did not get it.
The in-person interview was not hard per se, but he did ask a lot of the same behavioral questions over and over again except worded slightly differently, which I thought was odd. I did not get to talk about my experience as much as I would have liked or expected.
