I was interviewing for a senior role in the growth team. My interview felt more like a free consultation than an actual interview. I had an initial conversation with the hiring manager following which he set up another deep dive session. This turned to be a free consulting session in which he wanted me to share in detail the measurement processes at my current & earlier roles. In both my conversations with the hiring manager, he was looking for guidance in solving specific issues. The interview was more like a knowledge transfer and was very unethical. I therefore withdrew from the interview process.
