Uniqlo Customer Advisor interview questions

After submitting the application (and do follow all the instructions they have for naming the files and the disclaimer on the CV), I received a telephone call for a quick interview. It was a bit unexpected and I was unprepared but either way, I still made it through. The telephone interview was quite straight forward, questions include: Why Uniqlo What is excellant customer service to you Rank these three items: Smile, Greeting, Approach How you would deal with customer complaints What would you do if an item a customer wants is out of stock Had an interview the next day. It was a group interview, two managers and 6 candidates. Hiring process has drastically changed since my time of hire. At the time, applications (no resume necessary) were screened by a supervisor and then submitted to a "yes" or "no" pile for a first-round interview. First round interview was conducted by a supervisor and if passed to the second round, potential new hires were interviewed by their future floor manager. Currently I believe there is a "customary" pre-screening, resume required. The resume is eventually passed on to HR. During all the screenings and interviews it's important to smile til it hurts and be knowledgeable about the company. Open availability is also a key factor.
