I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at White Lodging (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2010
Interview
They came on campus for on campus interviews. Then selected about 8 students from my school to be sent to Indianapolis for a 2 day interview process. They used these days to fill all open entry level positions within White Lodging From operations, to catering, all the way through sales. They had students from over 10 schools. they have this Top grading methodology that they utilize along with a Personality and IQ/Critical thinking test that you take before you arrive. They first day we had interviews that followed with a networking event. The in person interview was a little daunting mainly because it was with two people the entire time and it ran for over 5 hours. I was most taken back when they went as far back as to pre high school. They are looking for trends and consistency. Also to see if you take on leadership opportunities as well.

Question 1
Tell us about a time where you may not have agreed with something and you felt strongly about it. What did you do? (doesn't have to be work it could be school, sports, friends, family)
Extremely detailed; they go back to your personality when you were in high school. Lasted a few hours. Also had a phone interview initially that lasted probably 30 minutes as well.
There was a panel, and it was called a Top Grade. The questions that are asked are comprised of your personal life and career development from when you started working as well as your relationship with your family and friends.
