Pros

I have seen amazing things take place at 1-800 contacts. They are striving to help people to do their best. It's a place for second chances and accountability. This is a company that lives their values the best they can. They don't claim perfection but claim authenticity.

Cons

People stay forever here so I don't see a lot of career growth opportunities. It is a really place to work.

As you mentioned, because of low turnover and high tenure across the company, advancement can be slower than associates may have experienced in previous workplaces. However, we are dedicated to developing associates, and whenever possible, we promote from within as higher-level and leadership positions become available. Pros

Remote position is the only pro

Cons

Management will fire you for asking questions directly related to your job. Ability to see your work has been taken away, metrics are no longer accessible. QA agents are no longer listed, stats are inaccurate when sent by management in emails. Constantly having to triple check things and take over 7 business days to get an answer to a simple question. They tell you you’re not in trouble yet fire you days later. No chance to review and or correct an issue. This company is the worst!

It's been over 5 years, still waiting for the other shoe to drop

Pros

-Upper management are actually good people (this feels rare!) -The company values aren't just fluff -Retention is through the roof here. You think you're only going to stay a few years and then find yourself actually happy. -Work-life balance exists

Cons

-Pay can always be better
