Great company overall, but dysfunctional Marketing leadership

Pros

Excellent company with long local history. Employees get along very well together, and there are opportunities for lateral moves among departments. Excellent 401k program!

Cons

In general, pay could be better. Marketing Department is under new leadership, although "leadership" may not be the right word. New CMO arrived mid-2016 and has proceeded to drive away all but one of his direct reports.

Pros

Yearly Summer Outing and Christmas Parties. Great vacation/Sick time.

Cons

Extremely under paid with small raises. Expensive health insurance with mediocre coverage. Also when putting in my two weeks, they required a 4 week notice if I wanted all my vacation time paid out. (entry level job)

Made great connections with the employees working there. Job security / stability

Cons

Underutilized staff, especially when departments were short-handed already. Limited upward mobility Compensation was subpar compared to similar positions at other banks.
