Pros
Often promote from within, average tenure is well above what I've seen elsewhere, size of Bank is small enough to allow individuals to make a real impact while large enough to have security and stability, some great people who genuinely care about what they do, high integrity
Cons
Salaries are wildly variable even for same positions, raises are meager unless they are tied to promotion, healthcare benefits are pretty costly, depending on the area "bad apples" are not weeded out and end up crippling/ poisoning teams
