It's difficult to find a place to begin... the most forward-facing and pivotal positions in this company are largely held by men that boast about their bully mentality and divisive tactics.
The CEO and owner, Christopher Munday gives very elegant speeches about the high standards at 2020 Companies but the tales he spins couldn't possibly be further from the truth. He spends most of his time out of state with no pulse on what most of the employees at the company are enduring. Morale is consistently low across all departments and it's immediately clear when you walk in the building or speak to the people working in the field there. He prides himself on maintaining good company culture, but whether he knows it or not, that's all smoke and mirrors.
A few things you will be sure to find in abundance at this company are low pay, lack of promotions for women and minorities, unrealistic expectations, a blatantly abusive and discriminatory culture, a corrupt HR department that exists only to protect those at the top, terrible training, PTO you are never allowed to take, lies upon lies both internally and client-facing, and complete disregard for any common moral or ethical standard.
Steve Peters, the President of the company condones by example the hiring and promoting of high-level managers that routinely and openly have affairs with the company's most advertised clients, sexually harass other employees, and are completely immune to any sort of typical workplace rules. Steve is rather charming and will have all the right things to say if you sit down with him though, so you can add that to the pros list.
Just go to HR, is that what you're thinking? Not here. The Human Resources department has absolutely no grasp on what's right or wrong in the workplace. If you turn in sexual harassment, you'll be interrogated like a criminal and then be fired. If you report an issue with your manager, it will be ignored. If you voice anything contrary to the opinion of the boys club, you'll quickly be marginalized. If your pay is wrong, you'll be told that's not their problem.
Buyer beware, this company is phenomenal at one thing and that's fake promotions. You will be told you are doing great and that they are "working through" a few things before they can give you more details, be given more responsibility, it will be announced to your peers, and then you'll be strung along for months or more with no title change and no rate change.
When I started with 2020 Companies there were a good number of strong, intelligent leaders who cared about people. In my experience, nearly every one of them is either gone or have been slowly transformed into empty shells of their former selves. The good things this company used to embody are long gone and any positive reviews you read are likely reminiscent of the past or a symptom of Stockholm syndrome. If you can avoid this place at any cost, please do. No one deserves to be looked down upon and treated the way this company will treat you. Unless your last name is Munday, it's safe to say that you should hard-pass on an opportunity to work for this unwaveringly narcissistic and nauseatingly arrogant company.
