Pros

I enjoy training the reps in the store. Learning the new technology is a real positive as well.

Cons

The job requirements and demands continue to increase and after a national call with the VP it is obvious that no raise is to be even considered. Incurred expense reimbursement has been reduced and on the same call we were essentially told if we didn't like it we can always work somewhere else. The cavalier attitude towards turnover indicates a lack of concern over keeping the Samsung account long range.

Pros

Not being stuck in an office.

Cons

Expensive benefits, Low pay with no raise after more than a year, too many useless conference calls, T-Mobile phones that have horrible reception, giving us a completely new route just before launch of new phone which means you have no relationship with stores reps at such an important time. Unless you drive a lot in your route to accumulate good gas money the pay is not good considering how hard we work. Giving everyone the Same Samsung Academy quota when clearly some routes are worse with many stores not wanting us give any kind of swag to reps as an incentive. New system for counting Samsung Academy is horrible because the farther they advance the less it counts for us. If they do 1st level it counts for 1 point but if they advance and do Specialist then complete expert it counts as 1/2 point each which doesn't make sense. There are some excellent people working for 2020 but it is extremely disorganized.

Pros

I really can't think of much. I did like my co-workers the rare times I would see them. Usually a couple times a year.

Cons

This is the worst job I ever had. They will make you work six day weeks for no additional pay, they will once in a while offer a day off but call it a comp day even though you just worked six. They will pull said comp day with zero notice. They will take back holidays that you have scheduled off again with zero notice. People have been fired many times for doing what management told them. They will not go up to bat for you against the client (Samsung) weather your right or wrong. The pay is awful and the benefits are even worse. The 401k offers no match. The upper management is highly incompetent. They will send you across the country for one day and say you get back at 8 am from flying they will expect you to work your shift that day. They will have you do conference calls (sometimes for hours on end), and the time won't count towards your day. They will have you do hours of administrative work that doesn't count towards your day. Be prepared to work 12 to 14 hour days most days. Not a single person from my district or any I know of were promoted (I was top 1% and never was). The reviews on here are what they asked people to write because there were so many bad ones. They pushed this pretty hard (who does that). If you leave or get fired good luck getting your pay and when you do it isn't right. The wear and tear on your car is immense. Vacation time is a joke and very hard to get approved. They don't offer sick days. You don't get paid for your vacation time if you leave or get fired. The turnover is unbelievable, I've never seem anything like it, but I know why. You will have to answer to two bosses one from Samsung and one from 2020 so make sure you go to the right one for the situation. At least at one point Samsung was a reputable product at one point but isn't anymore. Again all the glowing reviews are fake and were pushed to be put on here. Don't waste your time. If you have any other offer take it!
