Pros

Working at the AAMC was a great opportunity to experience the political happenings of Washington, DC while still contributing to my interest in health care. The general feeling of the office was one of friendliness and hard work.

Cons

Because the office is in DC, dress code and general manner of behavior were more formal than many internships but also allowed for opportunities to meet with important, influential individuals.
