Pros

If you are desperate and can’t get hired anywhere else in the country, I guess a paycheck from AAMCO could be a PRO. Be warned though, new hires only stay for a few months for good reason. Turn over is staggering. Don’t waste your time unless you are REALLY desperate for a job and you REALLY enjoyed 3rd grade.

Cons

This will be the worst mistake of your career. This is a fly-by-night company (lemonade stands are run better) where micromanaging by the executives is EXTREME and is reason the company is so very inefficient and sinking. Execs are real impressed with themselves! they think they are geniuses and everybody else is worthless and incapable. Execs listen in on phone conversations, sit out in the middle of the open floor to keep an eye on you, stroll around to make sure you are sitting at your work station, look at your computer monitors to make sure you have work displayed....You know the stuff good executives are made of. The very essence of the company is, It is all about the execs and their pockets. Every thought, Every calculated evil move, Every dollar. All about them! Execs don’t believe in cost of living adjustments. They think COLAS should be merit based. Now there’s a few geniuses! You won’t find a culture worse than this one. Culture starts at the top and the top doesn’t care. You will be bullied, verbally abused and harassed. There is a hotline to report this stuff but of course nobody trusts its confidentiality. This company is struggling financially. Haven’t met sales goals in years! MAYBE EVEN A DECADE. AAMCO franchisees are jumping ship anyway they can. Employees are running for the door. No raises in years, but the micromanaging execs who have CAUSED the poor results and CAUSED the business to sink will get their bonuses and costly perks. They will make sure the “accounting” will work on their favor. 😉

Pros

I do not have any

Cons

Hear me out, the AAROM program is very misleading. They tell you that they are bringing you on board to be a Regional Operations manager. But it is all very Misleading...Trust the Glassdoor reviews you are seeing online because they are not lying to you Aamco is rated 2.9 for a reason. DO NOT leave your job to work here. They bring you on board, they hardly give you training.. which then makes the position high stress, Becuase if you make a mistake, they are ready to tear you apart infront of your peers or even fire you.... To this company you are 100% easily disposable and the CEO’s actions say no less. Very high turnover. Don’t waste your time working here. Do yourself a favor and stay with your current company. If you leave your job for AAMCO, they will screw you, like they screwed so many people.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I am sorry to hear about your negative experience. The ROM position certainly isn%E2%80%99t for everyone. It is a fast-paced, demanding role that%E2%80%99s key to our success in supporting our franchise organization. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our ROM%E2%80%99s experience. As a matter of fact, we have recently rolled out a new training program to address concerns like yours. Sometimes in the process of transforming an industry, the sweeping changes necessary to disrupt and advance key processes may get messy. I believe firmly that the work our ROMs do is critical and we rely on them to help us shape the future of AAMCO. I hope wherever you have landed is a better fit for you and wish you well. If you have any specific recommendations or feedback, we would be happy to hear it.

Pros

I really don’t have any pros. It’s scary how many fake reviews have been posted over the last year. How does a ceo approval for from less than 50 percent to 81 percent in a year? They will reply to this post and say how I’m bitter, but unfortunately none of exec can look in the mirror and realize they work for a terrible company.

Cons

The owners are very difficult to deal with. Most l are racist and misogynistic. The executive team treat people like garbage, they think they work for an establishment like Tesla, but again they’re all to egotistical to realize how bad it is.
