Pros

Pay is ok and the other recruiters are pretty friendly

Cons

Where to begin - 0 accountability for sales team or account managers -facilities are in control of absolutely everything -more often than not you’ll have a job to fill and hires for that job then the facility will just randomly decided to close opportunities - they have a bonus structure that was designed for Covid/fema rates (implemented in 2023) -there is no communication or very little communication in job needs and the facility will just add on needs as you staff for the lm like Ben and Jerry’s -the owner down to the VP and some account managers are all related or a related friend and most are unqualified to be in the positions they are in - they have 0 respect for personal life and 0 respect for work life balance. - the turnover rate is extremely high and a lot of tenured and new recruiters tend to leave and go to other staffing companies

Thank you for your feedback. There are many opportunities and some challenges that come with the role of being a healthcare recruiter. Because we are in the business of temporary staffing, we do have clients that no longer need staff and sometimes cancel contracts. We understand that this can be frustrating as a recruiter, but it is part of our business. As a recruiter, it is important that you are accessible to your providers when they need you and that generally means that you will work more than a typical 8-5 shift. Your manager, within reason, will be able work with you to accommodate any personal matters you need to attend to during those hours. Please feel free to reach out to your manager or HR with any further feedback.

Pros

Free healthcare , commission , food trucks

Cons

First and foremost, the management is nothing short of a disaster. Communication is virtually nonexistent, and it often feels like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Account Managers do not display any sense of URGENCY! Leadership gives ZERO tools to success even when asked for help. Decisions are made on a whim without any consideration for their impact on employees, leading to confusion and frustration at every turn. There is no such thing as communication with this company. Starting from the owner to the first line supervisors, the incompetency that is portrayed daily completely diminishes moral. When moral becomes low the incompetency turns up even more and they add in retaliation to the mix. Not to mention, the daily berating, embarrassment, and disrespect that is shown to employees from even the owner all the way to the VP’s is uncalled for and unprofessional. If I wanted to be publicly scolded like I was a child, this would be the best place to work. The lack of transparency regarding company goals and strategies leaves employees feeling directionless and undervalued. Work-life balance is another myth. Expectations for working long hours are not just implied but explicitly demanded, leaving employees with no time to recharge or tend to their personal lives. The constant pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines takes a toll on mental and physical well-being, leading to burnout and, in almost all cases mental health issues. In full reality I cannot stress enough how awful it has been to my overall well-being and professional growth. The constant toxicity, lack of communication, cutthroat culture, and absence of work-life balance all contribute to an environment that is simply unsustainable for anyone seeking a fulfilling and rewarding career. I warn anyone considering a job here to think twice. This is a company that has lost its way and shows no signs of finding its path back to decency and respect for its employees especially recruitment. I truly do not believe this review will really do anything, but if it reaches one person to rethink starting a career with them, I have sincerely done all I can do!

Pros

Uncapped Commissions Employees are cool

Cons

Do not live upto their core “values”. A place that slaps a pizza party and happy hour to try and make It seem like everything is great. Unrealistic expectations , not enough “Hot” jobs or good rates. A couple good recruiter managers but leadership above that is terrible. Creates a stressful environment , witnessed good recruiters left and right being placed in performance management (but given higher metrics) which makes no sense if they were struggling. I’ve noticed very high turnover and It seems to be normal here. I am on my way out as this environment is toxic. As “Leaders” you should be supporting, encouraging, leading by example, and challenging your employees to be better. Adding more work and unrealistic expectations on top of passive aggressive approaches do not get you higher numbers or more money.

We appreciate your review and are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. The recruitment role is a sales position and metrics are put in place to ensure that goals are met. The jobs and rates that we offer to our providers are dependent on the needs of hospitals and do change throughout the year depending on our clients. Please feel free to reach out to your manager or another member of leadership to discuss your concerns further.
