Pros

- friendly co workers - supervisors are responsive most of the time -flexible when it comes to your schedule - ipad is provided - paperless data

Cons

-not enough hands on training. I REPEAT--- MORE HANDS ON TRAINING! - I feel like I have no idea WHAT I am doing in the field. Yes, we are taught 40 hours of THEORY but it is a compeltely different animal when using that knowldege out in the real world - Not enough time spent with supervisor when you reach out and let them know that you are having a hard time - Other coworkers that have just started have expressed that they are having difficulty obtaining enough hours - Working in a school setting-- No one seems to be on the same page with the behavior plan when it comes to teachers, school staff, and school district IEP . Expectations on the role of the BI should be explained clearly to EVERYONE - HR is VERY slow to respond. Often taking 3 days to respond to emails or NEVER responding at all. This is NOT a unique experience. It's best to call them directly if you want a response. - If you want to promote you have to be proactive. Not necessarily a con but just be aware of that.

Thanks for your thoughtful review. Our employees are the heart of everything we do and we try to be flexible with their busy lives. Your candid feedback on training is also appreciated. Our supervisors provide crucial training to our team members and we are always looking for more opportunities to host hands-on training sessions. I'd love to hear more of your ideas. Pros

The interview in the Irvine office was very comfortable and not a stressful conversation. The people in the office are extremely nice and friendly and willing to help you should you need it. Great work environment. F.Y.I. Seemed really flexible on the starting salary which is listed as fifteen dollars. I was offered two dollars more than the starting salary without having to ask.

Cons

They advertised for positions in the school districts but the interview was for positions in the clients' homes. Orientation is spent setting up your assigned Ipad with not much time spent on the 56 page handbook full of rules. Training is you sitting in a cold room completing what should be 40 hours of reading and answering questions on an Ipad. In-home conditions vary and you may not feel comfortable if you are a really clean person. F.Y.I. Paychecks may vary depending on the number of cancellations on your schedule.
