Pros

I wouldn’t say anything is a pro other than the salary.

Cons

There is no such thing as work-life balance. To receive praise, you have work outside working hours. The PTO and maternity leave are atrocious (2 weeks each). Short term disability is not covered by them. The health insurance is good. The onboarding is a disaster. Management sets unrealistic expectations for work. HR is not your friend at this company.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback! We're glad to hear that you were satisfied by the salary and health insurance. Thank you for your feedback regarding work-life balance, PTO, maternity leave, onboarding, and management expectations. Over the last few years, we have made immense improvements. We heavily encourage our Team Members to take advantage of our DTO policy and take the time to take care of themselves as humans first which will help everyone bring their best work. As far as maternity, we have updated our policy from 2 weeks to 8 weeks to give more time for bonding and healing. We offer paid sick time and FMLA for those eligible whether it is long term or short term. Again, we believe in taking care of you all first and that is when you bring your best work. The onboarding process has undergone immense improvements over the past several years. It is ever evolving and we appreciate you being apart of helping it grow so we can set our Team Members up for success from the start. People Ops is currently developing People Leader training to help support our People Leaders in supporting you all. Your input is invaluable, If you have further suggestions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to People Ops. We call ourselves People Ops rather than HR with intention - we are here to support you and your experience:)

Pros

The company serves veteran students well

Cons

1. Talented people are leaving in droves. 2. The treat instructors poorly 3. Leadership needs to worry less about acquiring new companies and more about managing their day-to-day business 4. Mandating double-digit growth year-after-year is not motivating for staff, gentlemen! 5. Very, passive-aggressive culture...they'll say nice things to your face, but then stab you in the back when you're not looking. 6. Constantly changing the sales incentive structure...to their benefit.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the importance of serving veteran students and acknowledging the work we do in that area. We’re deeply sorry about your experience regarding leadership, culture, and the treatment of instructors. It's crucial for us to retain talented people and create a motivating and supportive work environment. Over the past couple of years, we have developed a really supportive and close knit culture and are dedicated to continuously nurturing it. People Ops is currently developing People Leader training to provide support for them to ultimately provide the best support for their Team Members. With a lot of growth comes a lot of change and stress. We view our Team Members as humans first and when that is prioritized, that is when you all bring your best work. Thank you for playing a vital role in our growth and for taking the time to provide feedback.

Pros

-The only good was the PTO policy

Cons

-unorganized sales leadership -no direction, just come in figure it out without any help -unreasonable expectations w the support given from management -the org is falling apart a lot of the top talent have moved on. this means other employees in different roles get assigned additional job duties -management does not support the role. When asking questions about something the response would be "what do you think?" -scheduled 1 on 1's get canceled routinely -if you decide to speak up about the role and ask for assistance, you will be let go. -employee surveys are really not anonymous. Small teams can figure our who responds how by process of elimination. -waste of time doing everything the most complicated unorganized way. -management has a "I'm never wrong" attitude which is a horrible trait for a leader. -this is just a bad place to work if you want to be successful -benefits are ridiculously expensive (approx 1800/month for family. Health, dental, vision)
