Hardworking Employees - Mgmt out of touch

Pros

ACI has fantastic, hardworking employees and this is what makes ACI great.

Cons

Unfortunately a growing number of mid management and the greater amount of Senior and Executive level management are completely disconnected from their employees. They are often slow to respond, or do not respond at all. Sadly, ACI has become a 'date-driven' culture resulting in reactive versus proactive planning often with poor results.

Pros

Product ranges are marketable. work environment and tools such as workspace, hardware and applications are easy to come by.

Cons

incompetent managers hired from Romania, has no management abilities in a technical team.

A Mixed Bag- Needs Improvement

Pros

- I work with some very smart, talented and dedicated colleagues. They work hard, care and demonstrate strong teamwork. - The recent refocus on growing the Cloud side of the business, in lieu of licensed software. - Overall benefits package is at market. - If you can survive the turbulent environment, there are opportunities for growth and advancement. - Being part of the payments industry can be pretty cool.

Cons

- The executive team is too involved in day to day, business decision making. They need to empower their leadership team to run the business and refocus efforts on the higher level strategy. - The organizational design is complex with too many leadership layers, while we are often understaffed in the service and delivery positions. We need to simplify the organization and reinvest funding in the roles that deliver for the customer. - Some members of the executive team are not performing. - Lack of team work across business units.
